Клиентская часть приложения в двухзвенной архитектуре "клиент-сервер". На нее возлагаются функции как поддержки пользовательского интерфейса, так и реализации логики приложений. Серверная часть приложения при таком подходе должна выполнять функции сервера баз данных.
